Solange Barboza 

Solange Barboza is honored to serve as the Director at KSS Lincoln Highland, where she is dedicated to early child ood education and the vibrant community that has been built there. 

Originally from Venezuela, Solange moved to the United States in 2005 with a mission to foster the growth of young minds. Over the past two decades, she has focused on mastering the English language and obtaining advanced teaching credentials to best serve her students.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Pedagogic Science, a Master's degree in Psycholinguistics, and an A.S. in Business Microcomputer Applications. With over 36 years of classroom experience, Solange also holds a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Solange joined the KSS family in 2011 as a Head Teacher and transitioned into the role of Director in 2017. Throughout her tenure leading the Montclair and Lincoln Highland campuses, she has focused on creating an environment where diverse staff and families can flourish together. The unique Spanish Immersion Curriculum at KSS is designed to help children learn through joy and discovery. By nurturing their natural curiosity and creativity, Solange helps students build essential language skills and a foundation of empathy and confidence.

She believes in leading by example to maintain a warm, loving atmosphere where every child feels empowered to thrive. Solange considers it a privilege to plant the seeds of knowledge, share her vibrant Spanish culture, and watch students grow into global citizens.
